Description
PVC Schedule 80 fittings are for use with chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, chemical drainage and waste water treatment systems.

Torque Recommendation:
Schedule 80 Plastic Flanges
Flange Size - Recommended Torque
1/2 - 1-1/2 in. - 10 - 15 ft. lbs.
2 - 4 in. - 20 - 30 ft. lbs.
6 - 8 in. - 33 - 50 ft. lbs.
10 in. - 53 - 75 ft. lbs.
12 in. - 80 - 110 ft. lbs.
Recommended torque is with a well lubricated bolt with flat washers under bolt head and nut. A criss-cross tightening pattern is suggested for the flange bolts.
NOTE: PVC piping products ARE NOT RECOMMENDED for systems which transport or store compressed air or gases. Testing PVC piping products with compressed air or gases is also NOT RECOMMENDED.
